A copy of the Community General Export Authorisation (CGEA) is available here In order to avail of the CGEA an exporter simply notifies the Department in writing of his/her name and the address where the export records may be inspected. The notification must be made before, or within thirty days of, the first such export. The conditions, which exporters must comply with, for use of the CGEA is specified within the authorisation itself.
