Mr. Billy Kelleher was appointed Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment on the 20th June, 2007. He was first elected to the Dáil in 1997. He was Government Whip on the Committee on the Environment and Local Government and a member of the Committees on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and on Tourism and Sport. He was a Senator, Taoiseach’s nominee, 1992-97.
